Since our inception 21 years ago, we continue to drive the highest of standards in mortgage advice, insurance broking and wealth management. Much of this is down to the professionalism, experience and calibre of our 160 employees, who focus on quality and service.

We remain committed to providing high-level face-to-face advice and a large proportion of our business is recommended or referred by existing clients and introducers – mainly solicitors, accountants and estate agents.

We have always evolved with the times (good and bad) to ensure that we have kept ahead of the competition. Over the past two decades, we have identified gaps in the market, establishing niche teams and divisions along the way. This has included setting up SPF Short Term Finance and SPF New Homes, as well as an overseas mortgages team. Our specialist teams of brokers are experts in their field, so instead of dabbling in unfamiliar markets, they focus on specific types of funding and client groups. This specialisation is re-enforced by enhanced continuing professional development (CPD) and testing of the brokers that focus specifically in the areas in question.

We enjoy excellent relationships with our lending partners, giving us access to a wide range of mortgage options, including bespoke and exclusive products. We constantly strive to build on these relationships in order to develop further innovative arrangements for our clients.

Our understanding of lenders’ product offerings and requirements is second-to-none. Our tremendous experience and comprehensive understanding of all markets means we know exactly where a deal would fit, obtaining the very best terms possible for clients.

Naturally, we receive complex, high-value, unique enquiries but are able to deal with these with the same ease and simplicity as all cases, regardless of the nature and size of the deal. As a broker it can be easy to try and juggle too many lending options from different sectors or lender propositions, but we manage this extremely well by offering alternative expertise throughout our business. This also enables us to break transactions down, or build them up, by utilising multiple funding solutions.

We manage clients’ expectations in a proper fashion so they really do experience excellent customer service from us. This is evident in the exceptional feedback we receive from the Client Service Questionnaire, issued to all clients upon completion. We are proud that our clients come back again and again. We assisted people 20 years ago who have since referred friends, family, colleagues and now their own children.
